Location: Account Information/List Accounts
The List Account function displays all of the accounts on your server. It displays a variety of detailed information including the account's domain name, IP address, user name, contact email, partition location, and disk space quota. At the bottom of the list is the total number of accounts and a search function that enables you to search for specific types of accounts.
When the page loads, you will see a twelve-column table consisting of the following information:
Domain
- This column displays the domain associated with the account on your
server.
cPanel
- This column displays the "cPanel" icon. If you click on the
"cPanel" icon associated with any of the
accounts on your server, a new window will open the user's cPanel interface.
Ip - This
column displays the IP address associated with the account on your server.
If you click on the IP link, the associated account's home directory opens
in the browser interface. You can reassign a new IP address by clicking
on the "pencil-chart" icon next to the IP address. When the
page loads, select the new IP address from the "New Address"
drop down menu. Then click on the "Change" button.
Warning: Changing
a site's ip address may cause it to appear down from some locations until
the dns has propgated to all nameservers on the internet.
Username
- This column displays the username associated with the account on your
server. You can modify the user's information by clicking on the "pencil-chart"
icon next to the username. When the page loads, set the following:
Domain
Theme
Language
Username
Max Email Accounts
Max Ftp Accounts
Max Mailing Lists
Max SubDomains
Max Sql Databases
Max Parked Domains
Max Addon Domains
CGI Privilege
Shell Access
To learn more about the above settings, view the Create
a New Account document. Once you have modified the user's settings,
click on the "Save" button.
Contact Email
- This column displays the email address associated with the account on
your server. The email address must be set by the end user using their
cPanel interface. If an email has been entered and you want to modify
it in any way, click on the "pencil-chart" icon next to the
email address. Enter or modify the email address being displayed in t
he "Contact Email" text box. Then click on the "Save Email"
button.
Setup Date
- This column displays the setup date associated with the account on your
server.
Partition
- This column displays the partition (/home) directory associated with
the account on your server.
Quota
- This column displays the disk space limitation associated with the account
on your server. You can adjust the disk space limitation for the associated
account by clicking on the "pencil-chart" icon. When the page
loads, you will see a three-column table consisting of the following information:
User - This column displays the username associated with the account.
Space Used - This column displays the amount of disk space used by the associated account.
Quota
- Modify the disk space limitation in the "Quota" text box provided
(in Megabytes only). Then click on the "Change" button.
You will also see the "Total Space Used" value listed
at the bottom of the table.
Disk Used
- This column displays the amount of disk space used by the associated
account on your server.
Package
- This column displays the package associated with the account on your
server. You can change the package associated with this account by clicking
on the "pencil-chart" icon next to the package name. When the
page loads, select the new package by clicking on the package name in
the "New Package" list. Then click on the "Change"
button.
Theme
- This column displays the theme being used by the associated account
on your server.
Owner - This column displays the owner of the associated account on your server. You can change the owner of this account by clicking on the "pencil-chart" icon next to the owner's username. When the page loads, select the new owner from the "Change OwnerShip" drop down menu. Then click on the "ok" button.
FAQs
1. At the top of the right-hand side of the page is a "Fetch CSV" link. Why?
A: If you want to download and import all of the accounts on your server into an excel spreadsheet, you can use the "Fetch CSV" link to complete the task.
2. How do I search for a particular user account?
A: At thte bottom of the page there is a feature called "Regex Search By." First choose one of the available options by clicking on the radio button next to the option you want to use in your search:
Owner/Reseller - You can search by Owner/Reseller.
Domain - You can search by Domain.
User - You can search by User.
Package - You can search by Package.
IP - You can search by IP.
Next, enter a value in the text box provided. You can also modify the number of accounts displayed per page by entering a value in the "Accounts Per Page" text box. Once you have made your selections, click on the "Find" button. Your new results, if applicable, will reload and appear on the page.
