Location: Backup/Restore Multiple Backups
You can restore multiple backups at one time. You can only restore multiple backups of the same type: daily, weekly, or monthly. You can restore all backup files that you have created using WebHost Manager. WebHost Manager copies over each previous backup with the latest backup. For example, each daily backup copies over the previous daily backup and each weekly backup copies over the previous weekly backup
The Restore Backups feature allows you to restore the following backups:
monthly
weekly
daily
1. When the page loads, click on one of the three buttons available (monthly, weekly, daily).
2. The page will load with a table consisting of the following information:
Restore - Click on a check box next to the username whose account you want to restore.
Username - The username of the account you want to restore.
Recreate Account - Recreate the account entirely as part of the restore, rather than just overwriting existing files.
Give IP address (only if recreating) - Give the account an IP address as part of the restore.
Restore Subdomains - Restore the accounts subdomains as part of the restore.
Restore Mail Config - Restore the accounts mail configuration as part of the restore.
Restore MySQL
- Restore any MySQL databases as part of the restore.
Notes: At the bottom of each column there are two buttons - "Select Column" and "Deselect Column." You can click on any of the buttons depending on your specific needs. You can also choose to use the "Select All" button or the "Reverse Selection" button.
3. Click on the "Start Restore" button.
4. As the user's account is being restored, you should see a list of messages similar to the following:
Extracting tarball...................
Done
Extracting Domain....Done
Restoring cpanel user config file Done
Restoring Domains
Restoring Bandwidth Dta
Restoring Dns Zones
All the way down to "Account Restore Complete."
5. Once the backup restore has completed, a pop-up message will appear. Click on the "OK" button.
