Location: Disk Drives/Format-Mount a new Hard Drive
When adding a new hard drive to your server, you will want to format, and then mount that drive. In addition, if you want to remove all of the information from a current drive, all you need to do is format the drive.
WARNING! Formatting a hard drive will delete all information on that hard drive.
1. Click on the "Partition, Format, and Mount" button associated with the disk drive you want to format and mount.
2. Follow the on screen instructions to complete this task.
