Location: IP Functions/IP Migration Wizard
This wizard will help you migrate to a new set of ip addresses. It will update your server's configuration files, but it will not bind the new ip addresses. You will need to bind the new ip addresses by following the instructions in the Add a New IP Address document or with another utility before proceeding.
1. When the page loads, enter the new ips, one per line, in the text box provided.
Notes: When adding multiple ip addresses you must use Class C CIDR format or 192.168.0.1-254 format. See examples below.
Valid Examples: 192.168.4.128/25, 192.168.3.5-10, 192.168.99.55-230
2. Click on the "Continue" button.
3. A list of accounts will be listed. The new IP addresses you entered in Step 1 above will be shown in text boxes associated with the accounts listed. You can modify any of the IPs in the text boxes according to your own specific needs. Once you have finished modifying any of the IPs in the list, click on the "Continue" button.
4. This next step will modify your server's configuration files. Once this step has been started it cannot be reversed. When the ip migration is in progress you will not be able to change the ip of any account using the ip change function. The entire process takes about 48 hours since dns changes must propogate before the system can return to normal. To start the migration process, click on the "Continue" button.
