Location: Server Configuration/Server Time
You can modify the default timestamp of your server. When the Server Time page loads, you will see the "Current Time" listed in the first section. The current server time includes the following information:
Day
Month
Day
Hour/Minute/Second
TimeZone
Year
The "Configure" section contains the information you need to change the current timestamp of your server. Follow the instructions below.
1. The first setting you need to modify is the TimeZone. Select the TimeZone your server is located in from the drop down menu.
2. Click on the "Change TimeZone" button.
3. When the page loads, you will see the following statement:
Local TimeZone has been set to THE_TIMEZONE_YOU_SELECTED
4. Go back to the "Server Time" settings page. You should notice the "Current Time" has been changed to the TimeZone you selected and changed in the steps above.
5. Next, click on the "Sync Time with Time Server" button.
6. When the page loads, you will see the following statement followed by the "rdate: [rdate.cpanel.net] TIMESTAMP":
"Time has been synced"
